Helpful Weightloss Tool...Magic Bullet


I've been trying to get back on this weight loss journey for the last couple of weeks, and since its harder to lose this last 30lbs I decided to change up some of my eating habits and add new things. My husband likes to drink protein shakes and I thought I would give it try. However with my 5 month old nephew and other activties I'm in I have to be able to make a quick shake and go. We already have a blender but it takes too long to set everything up so I went a got and a Magic Bullet. Its small and if we need to go out town we can take this with us. Anyway I wanted to show you  guys my first smoothie I made. 

  
What I used
 Strawberry, Banana, and Yogurt( I didn't use the oreo that it came with)
also added some my A.C.E Pills
 Now Blend
Here is the finish product
It was pretty good I think next time I might add 1% milk instead of the yogurt.

BreakDown

I just had a breakdown after getting off the scale. I've been trying my hardest to get back to being healthy but I've been SO freaking busy! I think I'm more upset with myself because I have the resource but I haven't been using them. In the last couple of weeks my weight has been on my mind more and more. Which is causing me to lose confident in myself and have this ill feeling about myself. And I really need to nip this in the butt before it becomes a Huge problem. I've been writing down a few things to get back on the right track



  1. Go back to using Weight Watchers, I've used this program in the past with Great Results but since we moved to another state I had to leave the program. I did try going back to weight watchers online but I like and enjoy going to the meeting because it was so helpful and the staff are so freaking supportive.
  2. Switch up my workout plan, Tonio brought Insanity a few months ago and we did start it but we got so busy that we couldn't find the time. I also plan on meeting up with a friend she a Beach Body Coach/Member. Hopefully she can help me out (support) I want to still include fun workouts like Zumba but I know I have to really push myself because I know I've hit my wall and its been hard breaking through it.  
  3. Set a Real Weightloss Goal, I have 30lbs to lose (ideal) so I have to come up with a healthy and smart amount to lose. Each week or month
  4. Reward myself when I've achieve my goal  big or small), I think this will push me to keep working at my Ideal weight goal.
I have several more but this would be a long list lol just a few off my head. If you have any tips or suggest PLEASE leave a comment. I might go into more details about each step I plan to use (:

Finally Going Back!

I'm finally taking my butt back to the gym and watching what I eat! Its been months since I step foot in a gym. After not being able to hit my 165 mark I pretty much gave up and ended up gain a few pounds back nothing too much but it all went back to the stomach which is SAD!! I have to step my game up this time because its not going to be easy to lose the stomach fat and love handles. I'm going set mini goals for myself because I don't want to push myself too much and FAIL!! I have a pretty good support system so I'm not worry about that part. I think I'm going to take measurements this time to see if I'm making any progress. I'm also thinking about getting a personal trainer if the price is RIGHT!

Its getting late so I will check back with you guys later this week (:

Cramps and Working Out...TMI??

"Crap, my cycle is on! I guess I won't be working out". 

Well guys I use to say this all the time whenever my period came on. I don't know bout you ladies but my cramps are horrible. They would keep me in bed for days. Until a year ago I realize that working out actually helped with my cramps. I really wanted to go to Zumba, so I went my cycle wasn't heavy I think I was on day 4 or whatever. So the whole time I'm thinking shit WHY?? did I come! finally class was over while we were walking out it hit me "WOW, I actually feel GOOD". Now to be honest I thought well its  day 4 my cramps aren't really bad so did working out really help?? The next following month I decided to workout on DAY 2, I decided to workout to the in my living room just in case I passed out..lol

At some point I stopped worrying about my cramps. Once I was done I felt Great and I kept on working out on my cycle. Now there are times where I just can't do it.
So for those who don't workout on ur cycle maybe you should give it a try, you never know it could help.

Things I do while or Before working out on my cycle.
  •  Drink Plenty of Water (a must)
  •  Stretch before and after  (a must)
  •  I like doing cardio...zumba, steps, or belly dancing
  •  I like doing lower body exercises 
  •  I try not to eat alot of fiber because it makes my cramps worst
  •  After and before I use a heating pad on my abdomen you can use a heating pad, water bottle full with hot water, etc.
  •  Remember to breathe and have FUN!!
  • Don't push yourself too much  Relax if you need to

Weight Update

The last 2 weeks has been a hit and miss, because I've been trying to find exercises that will help me burn more fat. In my last update I mention the fact that I was losing inches, but the number on the scale wasn't going down. Last week I ended up losing 1lb (: but found out that my body fat is 50% ):
When I heard my body fat was 50% of course I was bummed. When we do our weigh-ins we have to keep our shoes on which in my case adds 2lbs to my actually weight. When I weigh myself at home I'm 173-174 (no shoe) and at the weigh-in I'm 175-176 (wit shoe). Now to some that may not be a huge different but for me it is. I'm trying not to let the number on the scale get to me, but it is. Last Saturday I went to a Cardio Kick class and it kicked my ass butt. I was sore for days but I had to keep pushing plus I couldn't have done it without my Girls Bridgette, Erin, and Devin. This week we got an extra Zumba Class!!! I had a great time booty poppin with the girls you could feel the energy in the room, which surprise me because it was a 9am class on a Saturday morning.

Anywho I'm starting to realize trying to reach 160lbs is not going to be as easy as I thought

Out wit the Old...

Hey Yall, it seems like I haven't made post in two weeks. Its been a very busy week. I started my new workout plan this week and it kicked my butt! Me and five other wives decided to take up a weightloss challenge at base, sortof like the Biggest Loser (: Our group name is Desperate Airman's Wives!! We had to go weigh in and the only thing I didn't like was we had to weigh in with our shoes on!?! which added to 2lbs. Yall know I wasn't to happy bout that. Just means I have to work harder to lose the weight. After my workout on Tuesday my feet were killing me so I finally got a new pair of workout shoes. I wish I had gotten them sooner because the back of my right heels has a boo boo /: However its not going to stop me from working out.

The New Kicks are really cute plus it feels great on my feet. I actually broke them in by walking/jogging for a hour and a half.

Dang I'm SORE

I went back to working out hardcore this week and I'm already SORE!! but its all good because I know its going to pay off in the end. I finally got a workout plan down to keep me going. One of my workouts is going to the gym on monday, wednesday, and friday with Hubs since he has to go after he gets off. The plan is for me to work on weights and run. Yes, I said RUN!! I'm slowing getting into running. Believe me I'm nervous about the whole thing because a few years ago I was hit by a car and my left knee was messed up so too much pressure makes it uncomfortable. However, I know if I push myself I can do it. I also went to a new workout class on base called 4-3-2-1 its basically a 4min cardio/3min strength/2 min core work/1min stretch and Repeat. I loved it she really worked us. I will be going back. I also wanted to post a few pictures of what I eat on Monday.

 Before I forgot has anyone seen Special K commericals?? Lose 6lbs in 2weeks. Well I decided to buy the cereal and one of their snacks to see how it actually works. I will do post tomorrow.
